Rose Parade

as some of you well know, I am a florist. With luck and some talent, I got to work on the rose parade through Phoenix Decorating Company this new years. It was an amazing expirence. I can't even begin to tell you how much  I learned! I accomplished a lot, and was SO humbled.It was so great to spend time with Kristin Wheelwright again on our yearly get together!  My brothers got to come up and work one day and let me tell you.... awesome to share this with them. I mean it meant so much to me to see them come up and participate in something so fun. I hope next year with some luck and serious convincing, my family and my new husband can all share the experience with me and we can camp out or something cool like that and actually watch the parade! so fun right? 

well, another fun thing, a Float I worked on got an award, the Princess trophy award! super cool! GO ROTARY!!! Woot Woot!

a love of my life!

Everyone I wanted to tell you all about Indian Jo. He is the reason for my sweet small sane amount of sanity this semester. When I get hug from him, I am enveloped by years of loving embraces and great comfort and a sense of relaxation. I have found my stress leave for a few hours when he is around. I love to put my hands on the sides of his face and tell him he is “AWesome!” When we accomplish things I find hard to do I know when he looks back at me he is just as excited s I am. I love his curiosity and calm nature. When he puts head on my shoulder I know he trusts me and its gonna be a good day.  Yep, I think that’s it for now….more to come later!

Part 2: Lessons of Maturity 

When people define you as a mature adult what exactly does the mean?

Definition of Mature: 

–adjective

1.

complete in natural growth or development, as plant and animal forms: a mature rose bush.

2.

ripe, as fruit, or fully aged, as cheese or wine.

3.

fully developed in body or mind, as a person: a maturewoman.

4.

pertaining to or characteristic of full development: a matureappearance; fruit with a mature softness.

5.

completed, perfected, or elaborated in full by the mind:mature plans.

take your pick as to which one suits your needs.....

 Mature is a word that can only be used in circumstances of food, nature and or wine which I don't drink so its not important. Its a word we use far to often incorrectly, none of us are as definition 5 states "completed or perfected" so why chose to define your self as mature? 

This girl is wearing a shirt that will say "under construction" until the day the Lord takes it off. I am striving to be the best in every situation even it it is a hard one and I can act "immature" because thats what I am until I learn how to respond better, learn from my mistakes and try to do better the next time.  I am scared for the day someone tells me I am a mature adult. Push the people around you to be better, but don't use mature:)
