adventures in the "BiRd"

Today was my first day and my first real adventure! I drove in my car a thunderbird, hence the "BiRd"( pronunciation guide: say it just like Bambi does.. b-ur-d-uh!) out to Waimea which was fabulous, there was a craft fair in the main square and the local elementary school faces the ocean. All I could think, is that if my classroom faced the ocean I wouldn't learn a thing! Since there is nothing after Waimea, I took the next left turn and drove until I hit sand, literally!! Heres a few pictures at that beach!

So once I had turned around and started back toward civilization, I took a few picture of the desert looking landscape since it is opposite of where I live which is 15 miles up the road!

So I decided I needed a beach bag bad and drove into Lihue, to the local mall for those of you familiar with the Mission Viejo mall I am sure you could fit there whole mall into our Nordstrom. that's where my mom and I had seen this sign last weekend and I had forgotten to post it with the pictures of the house and this picture of our huge dessert! 

Nervous? Yeah me too!  That they have a whole fair for mental health makes me worry about how many people actually need the services of this fair!

Hungry? We were!! It is coconut ice cream and fresh mango ice cream with strawberry sauce and whipped cream!

Now, back to my adventures, I was going to go to the Grand Hyatt and crash their beach, but there were cars parked everywhere turns out there is a golf tournament. So instead I went to the beach I went to yesterday with my Friend, Katie:) here are some pictures!

The water is so blue and the weather cleared up! 

I decided to head home early because the weather was rolling in, here is how fast the weather changes!

Now, I am home and about to cook dinner lots of fun on a great day!

Well, its been awhile since I updated anything and let anyone in on all my life secrets! Believe you me they are exciting!

Well, to start off I am moving to Hawaii in a week and a half or so to begin an internship! I will be working for Martin Roberts design and they are an event planning business. Which means I will be arranging wedding flowers, hotel flowers and other big arrangements all summer. Ruff life huh? I can't wait to get there! I am bummed to be leaving my family though!

Next, I am going to Europe in the fall. On the Religion history trip with BYU-I . I leave in September and come back in late October. Suppppperrrrrrr Excited!!!!!!!

Then I am home for 12 weeks and leave for freezing cold Rexburg in January to finish school! Craziness!


I can't believe how fast time flies! I hope it slows down so I can at least enjoy the view:)
