I have found that I love to walk here! I find great joy in taking in some of nature's surprises, complimented by some of mans. The thing about walks for me, is I leave the world behind, meaning my phone gets put on silent, ( I take it b/c I could get lost) my camera and a mind full of things to sort out and think about. This week, in church the relief society lesson was on temples. Do you know that from orange county, there are 4 temples with in an hour? I have been to three of them. I have never in my entire life lived more than an hour from a temple. I have participated in a temple open house and celebration, and have never missed a temple more in my life than now. My relief society president tried to explain how it feels at he temple. I really took that to heart. So most of my walk was spent trying to put into a few short sentences how I feel in a temple.
I feel eternally loved.
I feel at peace, not just in my mind but in my heart.
I know that I am a daughter of God, and he embraces me while I am in his house.
I want to stay as happy as I am in the temple outside of the temple.
I know this won't even truly explain the gratifying feeling while we are there but it brought some peace to mind trying to sum it up, as well as a need to go to the temple.
Now my walks are a lot like traffic, I know i need to clear my head, when I dont mind traffic or I feel the urge to go on a walk.
Here are a few picture of my fabulous walk.
