Adventures of a College Student: The Fourth of July

This may be the best holiday ever know to planet earth... want to know why?
This is a day we celebrate our lives and all the freedoms we enjoy. Freedom to cook brats instead of hot dogs, hamburgers steaks veggies... nah not that that's not important but there are freedoms far more crucial to our livelihoods than what we chose to barbecue. So this instead of worrying about the who, whats and where's I chose to think about the why's. I focused my thoughts primarily to the american revolution, and yes that was a long time ago and yes it can be boring to think about, but try looking at it from this angel. Benjamin Franklin. Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, John Hancock, Samuel Adams, these simple and small men changed the world as we know it. They had the power given to them by God at those specific moments in time to give us a nation that would quickly rise to being the most powerful nation in the world, in a shorter span of years that it took to build the culture in greece, to create a monarchy in england, watch the rise and fall of the roman empire. Our nation, was built to sweep the earth with the possibility of running your own life, fighting for the freedom of others, creating a better world, and the birth place of the modern day inventor. So even though the fourth of July has come and gone again. I am choosing to be grateful and positive this week about all I have been given because it comes at the cost of hundreds of lives, years of labor, and divine intervention. I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July and I wish you all the best talk to you soon:)
